Trees for Wildlife™ Month

September

Planting native trees is one of the most vital actions we can take for people and wildlife! You can donate today to help the National Wildlife Federation plant native trees, which will help make communities more resilient to climate change and offer crucial habitat for wildlife in urban, suburban, and rural environments.

Request Trees

The National Wildlife Federation provides reimbursement for free or subsidized native tree seedlings to existing partners who in turn plant them through local restoration projects or community tree giveaway events. At this time, we are only able to support native tree seedling reimbursement for our State Affiliates and existing partners of the National Wildlife Federation, including those participating in the following programs: Community Wildlife Habitat™, Mayors’ Monarch Pledge™, Schoolyard Habitats®, and EcoSchools U.S. programs. Please click on the provided links to learn how to get involved!

Where We Work

More than one-third of U.S. fish and wildlife species are at risk of extinction in the coming decades. The National Wildlife Federation is on the ground in seven regions across the country, collaborating with 53 state and territory affiliates to reverse the crisis and ensure wildlife thrive.
