IN A HIGH ALPINE MEADOW of Colorado’s Rocky Mountain National Park, an 皇冠体育app官网平台n pika grips a bouquet of wildflowers and grasses, which it will likely store in its den to eat during cold winter months. Nature photographer shivered in high winds and chilly temperatures at about 11,000 feet to capture this industrious creature. “They move very quickly,” he says, “so I have to stay very still until they get close enough to take a quick shot.”
